The TV presenter deliberately broke his trapped arm to avoid the crash and rushed to call for help – as Jake lay unconscious.
He said of the prospect: ‘I could be like Jake and not survive so I’m very grateful and lucky that if that’s the worst, I’ll deal with it as best I can. The scar I have is really bad so I will always have that as a reminder. But at least I’m still alive.’
As she continues to recover from the horrific incident, Yazmin described how her emotions are ‘up and down’ as she deals with the grief of losing Jake.

The beauty went on to say that the tragedy will ‘stay with me for the rest of my life’ before saying that she loves Jake, who she traveled the world to be with, ‘so hard’.

Yazmin said she convinced herself Jake was still alive as she ran up the bank where they were curled up screaming for help.

The TV presenter was on holiday with Jake in the Bodrum resort when the horrific incident took place.
Jake and Yazmin were driving in a blue Mercedes E class saloon along the windy, hilly road between the coastal city of Bodrum and the coastal town of Yalikavak on their way back from a night out.
The accident happened around 4:30 in the morning and investigators have determined that the car wound up about 70 feet above the left corner and landed in a canyon about 30 feet below.

Heartbreak: The grief and shock of the accident and losing Jake has caused Yazmin to need therapy
After the accident, he climbed into thick, thorny bushes to stop a passing driver to get help.
A source told MailOnline last week that Yazmin is heartbroken: ‘Yaz can’t feel any peace because her heart is torn in two by Jake’s death.
‘He still can’t come to terms with what happened.’
Jake, 33, – who previously dated former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger – was driving at the time of the crash.
Yazmin suffered serious injuries but pulled herself away from the wreckage to get help.
Her mother flew to support her daughter during her recovery at Bodrum’s Acibadem Hospital a few days after the accident before returning her home.
Family: Yazmin’s mother flew to Turkey to support her daughter days after the accident, and helped bring her home.
Meanwhile, MailOnline understands that Yazmin could face police questions in the coming days amid reports of the crash.
According to reports yesterday she was arguing with Jake when their car had an accident.
The claims were made by his mother, Anita Walsh, who raised her concerns with prosecutors investigating the crash that killed her son in Bodrum, Turkey.
Anita told prosecutors that Jake wouldn’t have lost control of the car as it spun around a corner on a mountain road because of his driving skills.
An Assistant Prosecutor, who cannot be named in accordance with Turkish law, told MailOnline on July 6: ‘We have spoken to Jake’s mother and she has told us that something was going on in the car which disturbed her.
“He does not believe that this accident was caused by his poor driving. He said that he is a skilled and experienced driver and would not have lost control of the car like this.’
Prosecutors are investigating whether Jake was driving under the influence. The couple got into an argument outside the club at 3am, shortly before Sunday’s crash.
Jake and Yazmin are thought to have met in May last year before revealing their relationship on Instagram in December in a clip that showed the pair kissing.
But she broke up with him just a month later after he was reportedly caught ‘acting alone’ while on holiday in Dubai and left a club alone with Love Island’s ex Ellie Jones.
The two were still thought to be separated when the accident happened on Sunday. Friends say they are not sure what the couple are doing together in Turkey, but they may have been there to sign some kind of business deal.
A source told MailOnline: ‘It’s an absolute tragedy and a loss of life. Everyone is in shock and hoping Yazmin will make a full recovery.
