Bette Midler has responded to social media users who have accused her of hating people, after claiming that women are ‘removed’ by using the words ‘menstruating’ and ‘men giving birth.’
The actress, 76, took to Twitter to explain her post was referring to New York Times’ comments that had been published after the Supreme Court overturned Roe V Wade.
After several users warned Bette that her words might seem offensive, she replied: ‘PEOPLE OF THE WORLD! My tweet about women was a response to this interesting and well-written piece in NYT July 3. ‘

“Apart from the fact that you want to starve children to death and accuse anyone who disagrees with you of being a homosexual, Joe Biden has a plan,” said Cohen.

He attached a link to the White House fact sheet from Thursday, outlining the steps they were taking to control the problem.
