The Time Traveler’s Wife depends on an extremely strange concept: A man (Theo James) spontaneously jumps back and forth in time – without taking his clothes with him. In other words, he ends up naked in front of oncoming trains, in the middle of the street and in the woods, where he meets his future wife (Rose Leslie). The Time Traveler’s Wife, based on the popular Audrey Niffenegger novel from which the film was made in 2009, will satisfy fans of this book and entertain those who can overlook the mild ick factor. Doctor Who fans note that Steven Moffat writes the series, bringing his typical wit and the complexity of time travel.
