‘I don’t know how my grandmother would feel!’ Biologist Dami Hope has admitted ‘it would be’ good ‘to gain popularity on Love Island and’ get paid to be the only one ‘
He said of his involvement: ‘When I told everyone, they were very shocked, but they were very happy. Keeping it a secret was very difficult, but I wanted to do it.
‘You know when you tell someone something, they always want to wish you well and always want to get in. It brings pressure. I feel that if I do not, I will not put pressure on myself. ‘
Having been out of the relationship for four years, Dami said he was ready to settle down but would do so as soon as he arrived at the mansion.
He revealed: ‘Obviously if I find someone and we click, then yes. I have been single for a while, it would be nice to have a girl again.

Ah dear: The 26-year-old Irish and Nigerian Islander continued to admit that he was not sure if his grandmother would give him permission if he found his future wife on the reality show ITV2.
‘I don’t know how my grandmother would feel if I found my wife on the television! I’m winging it, I’ll see.
Claiming that he liked girls with ‘good looks, slim waist and a little bit’, he said former members who impressed him included Yewande Biala, Mary Bedford, Amber Gill and Molly-Mae Hague.
In his game plan, he said: ‘Of course, that’s what I will do, play the field right away. Irish charm, Dami charm, maybe I’ll do it [use it] but it is just me being myself.
‘My flirting technique, it comes to me as I go. That seems to work for me. You will see it when you look at it! ‘

Hard: Speaking ahead of the series’ launch on Monday, he has been ‘struggling’ with the ‘hard’ ban on social media before filming but hopes to be ‘good’ as soon as he is on the show.
If you are ready to return to the screen on Monday, the new Love Island mansion is the largest ever to boast – boasting an endless swimming pool, spacious bedrooms and views of the Mallorca landscape.
But it is bad news for former England striker Michael Owen, 42, because this year’s rivalry, which includes his 19-year-old daughter Gemma, will be shown having sex after last year’s series broke down.
The producers of Love Island confirmed to MailOnline that although the challenges of food intake have been eliminated, sex is still on the menu, and they will evaluate every moment of enjoyment among the Residents of the Islands on a case-by-case basis.
When asked by MailOnline if the 2022 series will feature sex scenes unlike last year, chief producer Mike Spencer admitted that there were no bans.
He said: ‘We do not decide anything in advance. You do not know until you see the picture, in fact, we are very careful we cut every hour.
‘If something happens, we terminate it immediately so until you see something difficult to make a decision and you must go with what is right.
‘The episode makes it just right, interesting and funny, music is a big thing, and we will continue to do that but until we see it is hard to say and it depends on who it is.’
Love Island starts at 9pm Monday 6 June on ITV2 and ITV Hub. The episodes are available the next morning on BritBox.
